Socket is Deversus' own SaaS product, designed to allow B2B companies to quote and sell online. Socket lets companies create impressive quotes in seconds, integrates with their website for customer-facing instant quotes, automatically funnels leads into their CRM and Email Marketing Software, and accept payments securely online.

Socket addresses the common problems faced by B2B firms such as service providers, commercial software vendors, and manufacturers. Typically, such companies are unable to benefit from online sales via the traditional and overly-simplistic "add to cart" model of e-commerce software.

mediAm digital distribution inc.

mediAm allows independent film producers and distributors to sell and rent motion picture content online. mediAm's main objective is to provide everyone with a say in what they produce, market, and most importantly, watch.

mediAm selected Deversus as its official web application development partner for its comprehensive media distribution website and film management software. mediAm came to Deversus with what was essentially a functional prototype; after nearly a year of working together, mediAm is now in its beta stage with a robust software back-end that runs in the Amazon Cloud.

Tenant Verification Service, Inc.

TVS is a fully-automated credit reporting agency that serves the needs of the residential rental industry by providing fraud prevention tools which target delinquent tenants. Specific areas of investigation include credit reports, criminal record searches, and eviction searches.

TVS partnered with Deversus for its custom web application development services to develop a new website management platform that integrated with their proprietary web-based tenant screening software. The website was required to be geo-location aware in order to serve the unique needs of businesses within the USA and Canada. The website also needed to allow TVS' staff to easily add and modify content for the USA and Canadian versions of the site with distinct, but sometimes overlapping material.

Condo Management Web Application

Gateway Property Management

Gateway contracted Deversus for the second time to develop a custom web application that would allow the company to manage their vast portfolio of condominium buildings online. The web application allows Gateway to upload detailed information about the thousands of condo buildings and units they manage.

In addition to the information about each unit, the web application has also automated the entire process of selling and distributing legal documents pertaining to each condo building. Gateway is now able to upload and store documents online, such as strata meeting minutes, bylaws, and engineering documents, which are then automatically accessible for purchase via Gateway's website.

Outdoor Living Today

Outdoor Living Today is a Canadian manufacturer of over 50 high quality Western Red Cedar Do-It-Yourself-Kits, including Gazebos, Sheds, Playhouses, and Pergolas. OLT’s easy-to-assemble backyard kits can be ordered online and delivered direct to door anywhere in Canada or the US in less than 3 weeks. The products are also sold in Costco, Lowes, and Home Depot.

OLT hired Deversus for its web development services to build a new website and product catalogue, which was to be integrated with their existing e-commerce software. Deversus recommended that OLT "crowdsource" the design component, which they did. After reviewing over 50 design submissions from graphic designers around the world, a winner was chosen and Deversus began developing their new website.

Pointstreak.com Inc. is a sports technology company that is a world-leader in real-time sports statistics collection and distribution. Their clientele include over 1500 professional and amateur sports leagues across North America and Europe.

Pointstreak contracted Deversus for a custom software development for an online, multi-user website creation and template tool. The tool would subsequently allow Pointstreak's clients to create and edit all of the content on their websites through an easy-to-use Content Management System. Gateway Property Management Corporation is one of Canada's largest privately owned residential property management companies. With over 120 dedicated corporate employees in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, London, Kitchener, and Montreal, Gateway provides top-notch service to over 45,000 people living in Gateway managed properties.

Gateway selected Deversus over competing companies in August of 2008 to develop a niche solution to manage and monitor Compliance Issues relating to their employees and managed properties. The Compliance Tool allows Gateway to setup and track the status of critical mandates relating to the environment, fire safety, licensing, hazards, and/or audits.

OBI Canada

OBI Canada is an organization that offers courses to Dental Professionals in the area of Bioesthetic Dentistry. OBI Canada approached Deversus in 2007 looking to expand their web presence with a new, stylish website that more accurately reflected their principles. Deversus developed a strategic plan for the OBI Canada website that would streamline the online registration and payment process, while providing customized reports for administrative personnel.

Further, Deversus developed a proprietary solution for OBI Canda that features a dynamic online course catalogue and registration system which allows the company to easily manage all things course-related. Future Quest specializes exclusively in the design, distribution and support of "WorkForce Solutions", including vehicle tracking systems, fleet management systems, and taxi dispatch software. Carrying multiple product lines bundled into comprehensive solutions with various bundled support plans, Future Quest's quotation process is cumbersome and time-consuming.

Deversus developed a custom website integrated with our instant online quoting software, allowing Future Quest to automate it's sales quoting process and sell their products and services online. Using the tool, Future Quest is able to configure fleet-specific solutions via custom quotation templates that are comprised of any combination of products and services. The system allows clients to receive quotes in real-time, while still allowing Future Quest to obtain valuable customer leads. Once the quotation is received by the customer, they may choose to purchase the solution online directly through Future Quest's website via a real-time credit card solution.

Between Friends Club

Between Friends Club is a charitable organization which provides year round recreational and social programs for people with disabilities. The company envisaged a web application that would make the receiving and tracking of fundraising money very simple for participants in their campaign programs. In August, 2007, Between Friends Club enlisted Deversus to make their vision become a reality.

Throughout several strategic planning sessions, Deversus and Between Friends Club designed a solution that would be simple, fun, and effective. The end result was an innovative web application that allows Between Friends Club to reach out to the Calgary community by allowing friends and families to create their own fundraising campaign on the website. Fundraisers campaign to raise the most money for the event by promoting their personalized campaign web page. The custom web application features Content Management capabilities, online credit card processing, and a membership-based fundraising system.

GPS Vehicle Tracking Software

Future Quest Wireless Inc.

Future Quest Wireless Inc. provides the mobile workforce with cutting edge wireless technology for monitoring fleets in real time. Future Quest appointed Deversus to help design, architect, and develop GPS tracking software for taxi fleets already utilizing its taxi dispatch software.

After just four months in development, Future Quest and Deversus had the first working version of the GPS vehicle tracking software, dubbed GPS Commander. The software enables taxi fleet owners to track the location their taxis in real time, as well as play back vehicle location history on a detailed map. The software features comprehensive reports such as vehicle input/output monitoring, driver/vehicle assignment, realtime vehicle status, landmark entry/exit, stoppage and overspeed, as well as multi-user (client-server connectivity), and support for direct communication with GPS tracking hardware.

Rent-to-Own Listings Management Web App

In April 2007, two creative minds approached Deversus looking to turn their concept into a tangible product. Upon describing their business model, we went about the task of turning their rough requirements into a refined list of features. We broke these features into phases so as to work within their budget. Phase one contained items that were absolutely necessary to the basic requirement of offering a usable real estate website. Later phases included functionality that would offer superior process streamlining but were not immediately necessary. Upon review of the list, they chose the features they wanted to see in the first phase of what would become the RentOwnHouses.ca web application.

The project required the development of an easy-to-use web application that would allow our client to easily upload rent-to-own property information to the website. The web application features a custom Content Management System and listings database, automatic image upload/resizing, Google Maps integration, and web-to-email contact form.

Eco Crown Hospitality

Eco Crown Hospitality approached Deversus seeking to streamline the primary component of their business model. The company specializes in Green Certification for businesses in the hospitality industry — encouraging companies to adhere to environmental standards which thereby helps lower operating costs and reduce their environmental footprint.

Eco Crown Hospitality aimed to automate their Green Certification Questionnaire and have it seemlessly integrated with their existing website. With a tight timeline of only three weeks, Deversus assembled a team of developers to build a custom web application that features a membership and payment system, automated Green Certification Questionnaire, and reporting component. Eco Crown has since contracted Deversus for the development of additional phases that have resulted in the delivery of a world-class environmental technology solution.
