Gateway Property Management Corporation is one of Canada's largest privately owned residential property management companies. With over 120 dedicated corporate employees in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, London, Kitchener, and Montreal, Gateway provides top-notch service to over 45,000 people living in Gateway managed properties.
Gateway selected Deversus over competing companies to develop a niche solution to manage and monitor Compliance Issues relating to their employees and managed properties. The Compliance Tool allows Gateway to setup and track the status of critical mandates relating to the environment, fire safety, licensing, hazards, and/or audits.
The solution enables Gateway’s corporate employees to create Compliance Requests, along with one or more Compliance Items (i.e. programs, courses, or training sessions), Compliance Verification Requirements and a due date. The requests are automatically e-mailed to the selected employees by Province, City, or Office, Job Type, or Job Title. Once an employee has completed all or part of the Compliance Request, he or she logs into the system, updates the status of each item, and provides verification of completion. At any time, Gateway’s corporate employees can track the individual status of each employee’s Compliance Status via powerful reporting tools. These reports can also be exported to Excel, printed, or e-mailed to the desired parties.
Deversus was able to help Gateway increase their quality of service to their customers and dramatically reduce the manual workload associated with monitoring Compliance Issues. Gateway contracted Deversus again in April, 2009 for the design and development of a comprehensive Strata Building Management Application.

Compliance Request Management
Deversus developed an easy-to-use tool for the management of Compliance Requests - critical mandates involving environment, fire safety, licensing, hazards, and/or audits. The tool allows Gateway to easily create, distribute, and track Compliance Requests for its corporate employees and managed properties.
Compliance Request Setup
Gateway's administrative personnel may set up Compliance Requests with one or more Compliance Items that the assigned employee must comply with.
Assign Users to Compliance Request
Gateway's administrative personnel assign users to the Compliance Request by Province, City, Office, Job Type, or Job Title.
Compliance Notifications
Administrative personnel are able to send notification e-mails to all employees assigned to the Compliance Request.
Compliance Responses
Employees are able to log into the Gateway website and update the status of each Compliance Item within the Compliance Request. Administrative personnel may then review the responses and if approved, verify that employee's compliance.
Compliance Reporting
Gateway's administrative personnel can easily track the status of the Compliance Request for each assigned employee. Reports may be e-mailed, downloaded in CSV format, or printed.
